POST TRIALS STUDY…WHAT TO DO

So…you’ve finished trials! Your late nights and cramming sessions have been replaced with free time and a whole lot of confusion regarding the next few months and how you should best study. Don’t worry, we have a little guide to help you out!

1) Go over your weaknesses.
Drag out all your past papers over the last year or so (or even two for math) and note what your weaknesses are and make note to focus on those topics/skills.
2) Set out a plan.
As the end of your high school approaches, events will take over your study at times so get prepared! Note down all important dates first in your timetable (muck-up, graduation, formal etc) and make sure you take time off for those important milestones. And then slot in schoolwork where possible, giving extra attention to those topics or subjects you may not be strong in!
3) Question your teachers.
This is the time you have to start writing essays and responses and getting your work marked! Don’t try bombard your teachers towards the end because trust us, that’s what all your classmates will be doing. Get in first!
4) Sign up for our September workshops…duh!
